One Direction fans may have been distraught when the group didn’t pick up any Grammy nominations Monday (Made In The A.M. wasn’t eligible), but the group did receive another honor that same day. The British boy band accounted for the top three most popular tweets in 2015, and five of the top 10 based on retweets, Twitter announced Monday.
Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis, and even former member Zayn Malik beat out President Barack Obama’s tweet commenting on the Supreme Court’s June ruling in favor of same-sex marriage. Tweets from Kanye West, Caitlyn Jenner, the late Leonard Nimoy, and Saudi Arabia King Salman fill out the top 10.

Malik’s response to the release of 1D’s first single without him came in second with 566,904 retweets. Liam Payne rounds out the top three with a shoutout to his bandmates on the group’s fifth anniversary — a post that received 496,560 retweets.
#OneDirection also took the No. 1 spot for music-related trends this year. Fifth Harmony are the only other artists to join 1D in the top 10 for the category.
